Grenadian-American Ex-Teachers’ group awards students in essay, poetry contests

The Brooklyn-based Grenadian-American Ex-Teachers’ Association presented awards to 10 students who participated in the group’s essay and poetry-writing contests on Saturday, Sept. 14, as part of Grenada’s 50th Anniversary of Independence celebrations.  The award ceremony, which took place at the Nutmeg House on Flatbush Avenue in Brooklyn, was held under the auspices of Grenada New York Consul General Raphael M.
